As part of the “Light Up Kogi” initiative, the state government has officially commissioned a 700-kilowatt solar hybrid mini-grid in Offa, Olamaboro LGA. The project delivers reliable, sustainable electricity to over 4,000 households, micro-enterprises, primary health clinics, and schools. Speaking at the launch, community leaders praised the initiative, noting it will significantly enhance small business operations, agricultural cold storage, and local evening trade.
