Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture, in partnership with local agricultural consultants, has flag-off the distribution of free hybrid cashew seedlings and fertilizers to smallholder farmers across Okpo, Ogugu, and Imane districts of Olamaboro LGA. Olamaboro remains one of the largest cashew production zones in North-Central Nigeria. The initiative aims to improve yields, enforce high quality standards, and ensure Olamaboro cashew nuts command premium export values.
