To combat kidnapping, banditry, and border security challenges along the Kogi-Enugu boundary, the Kogi State Government has completed the comprehensive renovation and security upgrade of the Ogugu Army Operational Base in Olamaboro LGA. The upgrade includes the installation of solar power grids, high-definition CCTV security monitoring systems, fortified perimeter fencing, and improved troop quarters. The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro LGA commended the military and state administration for securing lives and investments.
